How do I invite someone to my venue team?
Invite them by email from the venue’s organization settings and choose their role carefully.
As a coordinator, on the website, press Venue at the top of your events. Under Team, enter the teammate's email address, choose the role you intend them to have, and press Invite, then press it again to send the invitation.
They answer it themselves. The next time they sign in to Cut the Cake with that address, on the web or in the app, their dashboard shows who invited them and to which venue, with Accept and Decline. Someone new to Cut the Cake who opens the invitation email joins as they sign in. Declining removes the invitation from your pending list, and you can invite them again.
Someone who hosts an event your venue handed to them can't join while they host it. They can give it back first.
A coordinator can see guest details and guest contributions on events the venue itself hosts. That is a wider grant than helping with headcounts for one event. Review the role before inviting someone.
Personal accounts do not have venue teams. For help with a personal event, add a co-host from that event's settings: Settings at the top of its Overview (the settings mark, in the app), then Hosts, or Hosts & privacy in an app version before 1.3.
