Can I design an invitation in the app before I sign up?
Yes. Choose Start an invitation on the app's first screen, design it on your phone or tablet, and press Keep when you want an account to keep it.
In the iPhone app and the Android app.
Yes. The first time you open the app, it shows a sealed envelope; press the seal. The next screen offers Start an invitation, Sign in and Got an invitation?.
Start an invitation opens the Design room with no account: the title, the date and place, the cover, colors and fonts, and your own sections, with the invitation shown as you go. It is kept on that phone or tablet only, and nothing is sent anywhere until you keep it. A new invitation starts with Pick your opening: the ways it can open, each playing over your invitation, with the Letter chosen. Press one to watch it and choose it, then Use (it names the one you chose) or Skip to go on to the title. Opening · Letter, above the title, has Change to pick another or turn it off.
The RSVP is on from the start, and every other feature but the Opening needs an account: pressing one says That one comes with an account. Keep your invitation to turn it on. Covers work as they do with an account: pick one of ours, use a photo of your own, or search the photo library.
Start over, at the foot of the room, clears the design in one press, with Undo for a few seconds.
When you like it, press Keep in the corner where Publish would be. Sign up with your name and email, and enter the code we send, or use Sign in with Apple or Google where the app offers it. If you already have an account, sign in from there instead. The invitation then becomes an event on your account and opens in the Design room, ready to publish.
On the website, Start your first event free works the same way: see How do I create and publish an event?.
