What do the Insights numbers mean?
Insights separates invitations, household responses and the number of people attending.
Open Manage → Insights once your event has invitees.
The invitation funnel follows households through invitation and response. The attending headcount counts people. A household with four people is one household response and four guests, so those totals need not match.
A response added by hand or received through a shared link may have no tracked invitation. It can count as responded without appearing as invited.
Use the meal breakdown where your event collects meal choices, and check the individual responses before making final arrangements with a caterer.
