How do I add a co-host or give support access?

Open your event’s settings (Settings at the top of its Overview, or Manage → Hosts & privacy in an app version before 1.3) and choose the kind of access you intend to grant.

Press Settings at the top of your event's Overview (in the app, the settings mark): co-hosts are under Hosts, and support access is Support access. Co-hosts on Manage → Features opens the same place. In an app version before 1.3, open Manage → Hosts & privacy.

Use Co-hosts when someone is helping run the event. A co-host can see guest contact details, photographs and guestbook entries, and can run the event's Awards and vote in them. There can be up to 3 co-hosts.

Once a co-host has signed in, they get the same event emails you do: a note each time someone answers, the email when the event goes live, the final numbers a few days before, and the one after the event about what guests shared. Reminders about what the event needs, such as publishing it or following up with quiet guests, go to the host. Emails about your account and your plan stay with you. Anyone can turn off the answer emails for themselves on the Notifications tab of Account, the page behind the account control at the top (your initials), or Account → Emails to you in the app.

Use Support access when you need our help with the event. Choose the access duration offered there and revoke it early when you no longer need it.

Product tooling cannot see your event's contents without a grant, and every view under a grant is logged. This describes access through the product; infrastructure administration is separate. We can see operational metadata, such as counts and delivery outcomes, without a grant.
