How do I reply to an invitation?
Open the invitation, choose your answer and submit the RSVP form.
You don't need the Cut the Cake app. The invitation and the RSVP form work in any web browser.
- Open your invitation and sign in if asked. The RSVP button is near the top, and again at the end of a longer invitation.
- Choose whether you are coming. Some hosts also offer Maybe. Nothing is chosen for you, and the rest of the form follows your answer: if you can't come, it asks only your name and an optional note.
- Add the people coming with you with + Add a guest, within the number your host allows. Complete any meal choices and other questions shown, such as what you're bringing if your host asks on the form. Allergies, a note to your host and texts are lines you open only if you need them.
- Press Send RSVP. If something is still needed, the form takes you to it and says what. Then check the confirmation.
Writing names in the form does not send an answer until you submit it.
Some hosts sell tickets too: Buy tickets beside the RSVP opens their ticket page, where you buy separately. If the invitation tells you to just come, the host isn't asking for replies, and there is nothing to send.
