How do I share the venue’s wifi with guests?

Open Manage → Features and press Turn on on the Wifi card. The sheet asks what the network is called; entering it turns the card on. Add the password underneath. A network name can be up to 32 bytes, which is fewer characters when it has accents or emoji, since those take more than one byte each. Check both carefully, then test them on a guest's phone.

Guests who are coming see the network and password on Guest home on the day.

Print a QR code in the same sheet prints a sign for a table or the door: the party's name, a code that joins the network when scanned, and the network and password in type. Where the event also has a code for guests to scan for the booth's photos or the awards, you choose what the sheet carries: Wifi, that code, or both. On the website the choice is two boxes above the sheet; in the app it appears under the button. Event staff can print that code too, once the event has one: it is made the first time you or a co-host open the print page, the Projector or the ballot link.

Show it on the projector puts a wifi code in the projector's banner, or in the lower left corner of the screen when the banner is off, and appears while the Projector is on. It is the same switch as Wifi code in Projector settings, where the network's name opens this sheet.

Turning the Wifi card off clears the network and password. A venue can set a guest network in its venue profile, and every new event starts with it; events already made keep their own.

Only share a network you have permission to offer guests. If the venue changes its password, update the card and reprint any signs.
