How do I set or reset my password?
Set a password from Account. If you have one and cannot remember it, use Forgot it? beside Password on the sign-in page.
You can sign in using an email link or code without setting a password.
To add a password, sign in first and open Account. On the website, press Settings at the top of the page, then Password under Ways to sign in; in the app, use the password controls there. The form explains the password requirements. When changing an existing password through the form, enter the current password too.
If you have forgotten it, press Sign in with a password on the sign-in page, then Forgot it? beside Password; or use Forgot your password? under Current password in Account → Settings → Password on the web, and follow the reset link in the email.
If you receive a password-change notice you did not expect, use Reset password in the notice and follow the reset link sent to your email. You do not need the current password. Contact us if you need help.
