# How do I create and publish an event?

Start an event, complete its basics, then publish it when the guest page is ready.

1. Sign in and start an event from your events screen.
2. In **Design → Basics**, set the title, date, time and place.
3. Use **Look** for the cover, colors and fonts, and **Details** for how guests take part.
4. Check the preview and resolve any items the Publish control says are still needed.
5. Publish, then share the guest link or open **Manage → Invite** to send invitations.

Publishing makes the guest page available. It does not send invitations automatically.
