# How do I leave a guestbook message?

Open Guestbook from your guest page and submit a note while contributions are open.

Open your guest page and choose **Guestbook**. Write your message and submit it using the form on that page.

The guestbook is part of the event, so use it for a note you mean to share there. For a private question, contact your host directly.

If Guestbook is missing or the writing control is unavailable, your host may have switched it off or archived the event.
