# How does the gift exchange work?

Answer yes, then join the gift exchange from your guest page and write a wishlist. When names are drawn, open yours to see whom you're getting something for and read their wishlist.

When your host runs a gift exchange, open **Gift exchange** from your guest page once you have answered yes, press **Join the gift exchange** and check who on your answer is in. Only you will know who you have. Not even your host.

## Your wishlist

Write what you would like under **Wishlist**. Addresses you paste become links. You can change it until the party starts.

## Opening your name

Your page says when names are drawn. Once they are, press **Draw your name** under the bowl: a slip comes up and unfolds to show whom you're getting something for. Their wishlist is under it, with the spending limit at the top of the page. If they haven't written one, **Ask for a wishlist** sends them a note that says only that someone would love a hint.

If everyone on your answer is in, you see each of their names, one by one.

If your host draws names again after you opened yours, you get an email saying so, and your page says "Names were drawn again. This is your new one." above your new name until you open it.

## If you change your mind

**Leave the exchange** takes you out. After names are drawn, the person who had you gets a new name.

## At the party

Once your host reveals, your page says who your gift was from.
